Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious mental health industry watchdog. Its mission is to expose and eradicate abuses committed under the guise of mental health and enact patient and consumer protections. 

 

CCHR receives reports from individuals who sought help from psychiatrists or psychologists, were falsely diagnosed, and forced to undergo unwanted and harmful psychiatric “treatments”—including psychiatric drugs documented to cause serious side effects, involuntary commitment, electroshock, and more. CCHR often assists by helping individuals file complaints or working with attorneys to investigate and act on abuse.
